Tower Attack Pictures
My boyfriend has been working on a tower attack (as opposed to defense) game. It's a nice little idea, and he had some artist/designer people he was working with that I'd hooked him up with through friends of mine. Then they turned flaky, and my boyfriend still wanted to finish up his game. But he had no original graphics to work with. So he asked me if I'd be willing to, and I thought I'd give it a shot. Here's some of my favorite icon things that I've made. (They're all 30x30 px because that's the scale my boyfriend wanted/needed for the game).
From left to right, top to bottom: cardinal, heron, cat, mine, turret, zebra, turret, igloo, sheep, ruined village, penguin.

Storybook with Kids I Babysit
The Lion and the Mouse
Once upon a time there was a huge lion asleep in the savannah.
A tiny mouse accidentally woke the lion up.
The lion was angry to have been disturbed and threatened to eat the mouse.
The mouse begged for mercy and promised to repay the lion in some way.
The lion laughed at the thought of a tiny mouse being able to help a big lion, but allowed the mouse to live.
Later, the lion got tangled in a net left by trappers.
He was unable to free himself, but he saw the mouse passing by and asked it to chew through the net.
The mouse happily chewed the ropes of the net. The lion, now free, apologized for thinking that someone so small could never be useful.
I'll update after the babysitting gig, possibly with pictures and a further explanation.
UPDATE
Very successful night! Here's pictures of our finished product.

Next she tried climbing through the window but there were wooden bars clocking her escape. |

Cinderella climbed up (the) tower by the vine (beanstalk) growing on its side and when she got to the top she used her magical shoes to break the strong wooden bars of the window. |

To Soar Amongst the Stars
Ok, so I'm revising a super old story (whose working title was A Temple for the Stars, but I'm switching things up and re-working-titling it). Here's some writing! (About 1500 words)
